With the cooperation of all of you, while the work of Shikeri Goshala of Gomantak Gausevak Federation is progressing vigorously, the number of stray cattle coming and being brought to the Goshala is increasing. Government assistance is being received but it is becoming very insufficient. At the same time, the cost of the minimum items required for the Goshala is increasing and the salary of the workers is also increasing along with it. They also have to arrange their accommodation and food.
Today Shikeri Goshale has more than 4500+ cattle and their daily food expenditure is more than Rs. 5,50,000. We request you all to adopt at least one cow from Shikeri Goshala to take forward the adoption scheme implemented by Goshala and support this great work of Goseva. It is a humble request that you also participate in the fodder scheme being implemented according to your capacity.
Schemes of Goshala are as below.
- Cattle Adoption Scheme – 36500/- Rupees (lump sum) for one year.
- Lifetime Cattle Adoption Scheme – Rs.3050/- per month. (Donors are advised to instruct their bank to transfer 3050/- per month from their account to the Goshala account.)
- Food Donation Scheme –500/- rupees silage bale (maize fodder) for five cows at one time. (You can donate feed for any number of cows in this fold
